She was born Dec. 11, 1936, in Providence, Rhode Island, to the late James A. and Eunice R. Doucette and attended Franklin K. Lane High School in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Pink ribbons decorated the campus of Wayne Valley High School on Wednesday, forming a tribute to a classmate who lost her battle with cystic fibrosis over the weekend. Mary Murphy Turner Dunn, 96, of 280 Vann Smith Road, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 12, 2005 at Britthaven Nursing Home. She was a charter member of the Pink Hill Church of God which she loved dearly.
